Birth

When Nicholas Herbert Germon was born on November 12, 1889, in Tiverton, Devon, England^[1], his father, Richard Germon , was 33 and his mother, Elizabeth Gibbon, was 25.

Marriage

He married Agnes Rosalind Richardson on June 29, 1912, in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. ^[2]

Military

Nicholas served as part of the Royal Engineers, Inland Waterways and Dock Companies Durkin WWI, 1917.^[3] He was awarded the British Medal for his service.^[4]

Immigration

Nicholas was living in Canada when he married, and two of his children were born in Canada. He may have returned to UK because of the Great War. His third child was born in England.

He immigrated to the United States of America.^[5]

Children

They had three children in 11 years.

Death

He died on July 27, 1983, in Ferndale, Washington, at the age of 93^[6].
