Biography
Elias was a Friend (Quaker)
Elias was born on 9d 7m 1762 [9 Jul 1762] in Cortlandt Manor, New York Colony.[1] He was the son of Daniel Giraud III and Elizabeth (Coutant) Gerow.He married Elizabeth Coutant on 30 May 1785.
Elias Gerow was recorded with his wife, Elizabeth, and their children Gilbert, Anna, and Daniel in 1797 at the Friends Monthly Meeting in Cornwall.[2]
He died on 23d 1m 1838 [23 Jan 1838] in Plattekill, Ulster, New York.[3] He was buried in Friends Cemetery.[4]
