Henry Gerrard was born in Dorset, England.

Henry was born on 13 December 1766 and christened on the following day in Beaminster, Dorset, England. He was the son of Henry Gerrard and his wife Elizabeth Hoskins. [1]

He married Sarah Pulman (or Pullman) by banns on 20 September 1802 in Netherbury, Dorset, England. The entry calls him "Henery Gerrard of Beamister", whilst Sarah is "Sarah Pullman of this parish". [2]

Their children, who were christened in Beaminster, Dorset, included:

The record of Henry's burial, on 29 August 1820, shows that he was 53 years old at the time of his death. [11]
