Biography
Author of book "I Married a Bush Pilot". Born 1901 near Fergus, Ontario, she attended University of Alberta, and enjoyed praise and popularity as she began a career in theatre, with performances in Edmonton and Ottawa, at the Dominion Drama Festival. When a young airman proposed, Connie gave up the footlights for a oneroom honeymoon cabin between the saloon and the graveyard at Gold Pines, Ontario.
