Biography
Charles Herbert Burleigh Gerty was baptised in Moorby, Lincolnshire on 4 July 1871, he was the son of Hamilton Gerty and Adelaide Burley [1]
In 1881, Charles was age 9, and away at school in Leatherhead, Surrey [2]
The 1891 census showed the family in Burlington Gardens, Acton [3]
