Biography

Tombstone reads: "He was a quiet and modest man".

"Born in Scranton, son of the late Isaac and Tillie Ginsberg Gurevitz, he attended Scranton public schools and the University of Scranton. He operated Abington Auto Sales for many years and was employed by Burlington Coat Factory. He served in both the Army and Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of the Jewish War Veterans and also the Musicians Union Local 120."

Served in the 82nd Air Div. Band (Tec4) WWII from November 20, 1942 to January 16, 1946.
