Biography

Mary Emeline Getchell was born at Topsfield, Maine, 19 Feb 1830 [1] or 1831 (death record; FindAGrave), the daughter of Josiah Getchell and Mary Tyler; died there of chronic intestinal nephritis and "senile weakness", 26 Jul 1920, ae 89y 7m 5d, [2] and buried with her husband in the Calais Cemetery; [3] married, probably at Calais, c1847, Otis Augustus Reding, born at Calais, Maine, 21 Sep 1821, the son of Ebenezer Redding and Rebecca Hill; [4] died there of endocarditis, 30 Mar 1897, ae 75y 6m (his birthplace incorrectly reported as Baileyville), [5] [6] and buried in the Calais Cemetery; [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13]
