Robert Getty served in the Revolutionary War in New York and responded to no less than seven calls to serve. In April 1778, he is listed as a Corporal in Alexander Webster's Regiment under Captain John Hamilton, Colonel Webster in the Charlotte Militia. Further service in 1779, Nov. 1781.

I see Scott removed Robert Getty (abt.1755-1829) as spouse of Dorothy (Gray) Getty (abt.1768-). Dorothy however remains as mother and Robert as father of child Thomas. Should Thomas be detached from either Robert or Dorothy or both left as parents?
