Biography
Salvatore Giacalone is born around 1863 in Corleone, the son of Giovanni Giacalone and Anna Maria Collura.
Salvatore marries Francesca Mangiameli, daughter of Antonino Mangiameli and Bernarda Pennino, on 1 June 1891.[1]
Salvatore, his wife, and a girl of unknown relation, but with the same surname, appear in series among more than sixty passengers from Corleone on the Kronprinz Friedrich Wilhelm, sailing from Palermo via Naples and arriving on 17 October 1894 in Ellis Island. All are intending to continue to the port of New Orleans.
