Biography

Marianna was born in 1830 to Giuseppe Giambalvo and Margarita Liotta ^[1]. She married her second cousin Maestro Ignazio Rametta ^[2], a shoemaker. They had multiple children. Marianna, widowed, died in 1904 ^[3].

Marianna was named for her paternal grandmother, Marianna Montelione. She is named as Anna Giambalvo in the 1867 birth record for son Giacchino.
