Biography

Francesco was born about 1813-14 ^[1] to Giacinto Giambalvo and Antonina Ippolito. His first marriage, date unknown, was to Maria Cascio ^[2]. He was widowed and in 1853 at age 39, he married 20-year-old Francesca Saladino. They produced 9 children, 5 of whom died young. Francesco died in 1893 at age 80 ^[3].
