Biography

Francesco was born in 1859 to Baldassare Giambalvo and Maria Provvidenza Ricca ^[1]. He married his first cousin, 15-year-old Vincenza Giambalvo in 1883 ^[2] and they had at least 9 children. Per his marriage banns, Francesco was a tailor. This family seems to have remained in Sicily.
