Thanks for your amendment, the birth location (Araras) of this great-grand uncle comes from family history and I used the italian spelling; If you need it I found the birth registrationof Giovanni made in the parish of "Nossa senhora do Patrocinio" in Araras, same for Giuseppina Ferronato (born in 1896) as well al the birth registrations of the other two siblings (Angelo, my grandfather, and Ida), born in Italy.
Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
Hi again Regis, you received another Generous Badge, way to go!! Thank you for your continued work on WikiTree by supplying sources and information to members to enhance their ancestors' profiles. Thank you!!
Hi Regis, I just wanted to say "Congratulations" on becoming one of the newest Blue Badged "Generous Genealogist". Your dedication to Wikitree has been an asset and great help to us.
Hello, Regis. The G2G discussion http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/267269/abandoned-profiles-had-name-changed-before-left-delete-them is about some abandoned (and mutilated) profiles that appear to have been created to represent people (possibly aristocrats) in the Lecce region of Italy. At least one of the people was named Episcopo. I see that you have some profiles for people by that name in that same general region of Italy. Do you have any thoughts on whether and how good use could be made of these abandoned profiles?
As a WikiTree Ranger, in the span of one minute, I see about 150 to 200 posting from members around the world, creating, merging, editing Biographies and much more, I cant verify each of them but instead I do spot-checks to make sure that the individual follows the WikiTree Guidelines. As for the case of Images that might be copyrighted, WikiTree would prefer that you dont but instead ad a link in the Biographies and cut-and-pastes also applies here. Theres a lot of good discussion in G2G http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/169530/images-and-copyright?show=169530#q169530
