In the year one thousand nine hundred eleven, on the 6th day of September, at 12:40 in the Town Hall. Before me, Donato Palumbo, Secretary, delegated by an act of the Mayor, 11 February 1910, duly approved by the Office of Registrar of Vital Statistics of the Municipality of Salaparuta, have appeared before me Antonio Ferro, 50 years of age, an undertaker in Salaparuta and Fedele Bono, 76 years of age, the auctioneer, who lives in Salaparuta, have declared that at 17:08 or 5:08 p.m. yesterday, in the house located at Via Giarraputo Number 10, about the death of Giuseppa Giarraputo, 71 years of age, a housewife, a resident of Salaparuta, born to the late Gaspare [Giarraputo] who in life, lived in Salaparuta and the late Margherita La Rocca, who in life, lived in Salaparuta and was the wife of Giuseppe Bilà. There were testimonies from Giuseppe La Bella, 43 years of age, retired and Giocchino Fazzino, 40 years old, a civil servant, both residents of this municipality. The present record was read to all who assembled and it was signed by me, the witnesses having said the registrants do not know how to read or write.
