Biography
Andrew was born about 1818.
He married Helen Stewart/Stuart in 1841 in Scotland, and they emigrated to America, possibly in 1844. They had three children:
- Alexander 1841-1887
- James 1843-1907
- Agnes b. 1845
- George 1849-1939
Helen died between 1850 and 1860, and he remarried to Elizabeth Koons/Coons. They had a daughter:
- Mary Ann Gibb, m. Reed 1853-1937
He died between July 1870 and May 1871. Record needed.
Research Notes
Andrew and Helen recorded in 1850 in Philadelphia. Andrew and Elizabeth have census records in Lock Haven that need to be searched for (1860 and 1870). The Find a Grave Profile has extensive notes.
