Biography

Dorothy's birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1898 in the Warwick district.^[1] Dorothy was baptised on 29 May 1898 in Leamington, Warwickshire, England.^[2] In the 1901 census Dorothy (age 2) was the daughter of Henry M Gibbon in Leamington, Warwickshire, England.^[3] In the 1911 census Dorothy (age 12) was the daughter of Henry Mark John Gibbon in Leamington, Warwickshire, England.^[4]

Dorothy was known as Dossie and had a degree in English and taught in a school in Bristol. She never married.^[5]
