Hi Scott,

We’ve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.

Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.

Please let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project, if you’d like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) you’d like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group.

Many thanks,

Susie

Leader, Global Cemeteries

DNA match not showing up here either, but it could be because of you coming through male ancestors and me coming through female ancestors??

Marked each as "certain" with Polly as nick name to get this: Mary "Polly" Logsdon formerly Brown. Marking certain gets rid of all the misc stuff. The nick name category show that it wasn't an actual middle name...by the way, you and I are 6th cousins once removed.

Hi Scott, I think for the time being we could just keep the middle name of Mary Logsdon as 'Mary Polly Brown Logsdon'. I will remove the 'Mary Polly' part of the middle name. I do see documents such as the DAR listing her name as Mary Polly.

Welcome, Scott! How are things going for you now that you've had a chance to look around and add some of your family tree?

When you have a moment, you should come on over and introduce yourself in our forum thread for new members. It's a great way to meet other genealogists and share what you are working on.

Scott, I noticed that you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of our (http://www.geneamusings.com/2013/12/adding-early-seaver-generations-to.html GEDCOM import process) including screenshots that you might find helpful. You might also want to check out our (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:GEDCOMsGEDCOMS). Please keep in mind that our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile.
