Henry was born in 1907. He was the son of Malcom Gibbs and Maude Foote. He passed away in 1954.
Colonel Gibbs graduated from John's Hopkins University in Baltimore with a degree in Engineering. He was a communications officer, served in WWII at the Pentagon and was later sent to Japan after the war. When he left the Army he worked as an engineer for Washington [D.C.] Gas Company. He died in a house fire.
