Samuel, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Swift Gibbs, was born at Sandwich in 1724.[1] He married Hannah Perry there in 1744[2] and they had eight children together.[3]
Samuel is believed to have married Mary Weston in 1784[4] and Elizabeth Crane in 1801.[5] He died at age 80 in 1806.[3]
