Biography
Sadie was born on February 21, 1925 in Lake, MS to Virgil and Olie Mae Gibbs. She married George Monroe "Buck" Wolfe. They had four sons. In 1953, Buck and Sadie moves to Datil, NM. Two years later they moved to Magdalena, NM. Sadie was a much loved Avon Lady in that area for 18 years. Both Sadie and Buck were very active in the First Baptist Church. Sadie loved to sing the old hymns and was singing them by heart in the last weeks of her life. She was a great cook and was never happier thab when she was cooking in the kitchen for family and friends. She passed away on June 21, 2011 at the age of 86 in Socorro County, NM. She was buried in the Magdalena Community Cemetery in Magdalena, NM.
