Biography
Mary Ann Gibbs, born 1798, was the daughter of John Gibbs and Anne Howard. she and John McAdoo were married in Aug 1815 [1] at the family home. For awhile she lived at Smith's Cross Roads, now Dayton Rhea Co, but again returned to Clinton. She died at the family home at Island Farm Anderson Co. [2] in 1874, buried at Clinton in Anderson Co TN. [3]
