Her family tree is interesting to follow for history buffs.

Most of her ancestors have been in the Colonial Days. I was told that one was on the Mayflower, but have not found them yet. I did find several on the first few ships that followed the Mayflower, and I found some that were here before that.

Most came from the British Isles, and some are of royal lineage.

Born in SD, but it looks like her family moved around after that. Eventually she met Martin Bondhus, and had several children with him. He died young, and she remarried twice.

She played the violin, and her daughter-in-law said she had been a member of the symphony orchestra in MN.
