When Elizabeth Gibbs was born on January 12, 1695, in Watertown, Massachusetts, her father, Rev Henry Gibbs, was 26, and her mother, Mercy Greenough, was 20. [1]She married William Hayward on March 16, 1717, in Mendon, Massachusetts.[2] They had several children. She died on February 13, 1776, in Upton, Massachusetts, wife of Lt Hayward, having lived a long life "about" 86 years, according to the headstone.[3]
