Biography
Edward Gibbs was born on 26 December 1836 in Perth, Western Australia.[1] His parents were William John Gibbs and Harriet (Lacey) Gibbs.
He married Mary Jane Pearce on 26 June 1863 in Guildford.[2] They had four children.
Edward was a firewood contractor at Canning and employed six Ticket of Leave men there from 1863 to 1871.[3]
