Biography

Charlotte Giblin was born in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England, the daughter of Robert Wilkins Giblin and Jessy Elizabeth Dobby.

She was christened on 28 June 1824 at Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England, United Kingdom and her date of birth was recorded as 30 September 1814[1]

Charlotte Giblin married Ebenezer Shoobridge on 23 March 1841 at Brisbane Chapel, Hobart Tasmania.[2]

They moved to Bushy Park, New Norfolk, Tasmania, Australia.

Charlotte died on 3 January 1879 at Bushy Park.

SHOOBRIDGE.— On the 3rd January, Charlotte, the beloved wife of Ebenezer Shoobridge, Bushy Park, New Norfolk, Tasmania.[3]
