Elizabeth (Gibson) Stone was born in Manchester, Lancashire, England.

Elizabeth was born on March 28, 1904, in Manchester, Lancashire, England.^[1] Her birth was registered in Chorlton. She was the daughter of Thomas Gibson and Mary Horsfield. She was baptized on April 24, 1904, in Manchester at St Matthew.^[2] Her father died in 1910. Elizabeth was enumerated in the 1911 census ^[3] with her widowed mother Mary and sister Sarah in the household of George William Garnett, 31 Granville Street, Manchester. They were listed as boarders.

Elizabeth married Harold Stone in 1925.^[4] The ceremony was performed on March 25th at St Stephen, Salford.^[5] The couple had at least one child. Elizabeth, Harold, and daughter Alma, appeared in the 1939 Register^[6] residing at 252 Oldham Road, Manchester. Her occupation "Unpaid Domestic Duties".

Elizabeth passed away in 1994.^[7] Her death was registered in January in Blackpool and Fylde, Lancashire.
