Biography

John Fletcher Gibson was born in 1858, the son of William and Charlotte (Tucker) Gibson in New Brunswick. He married Alida J. Peakes (Holland?) at age 57 in Victoria, New Brunswick, Canada. He married before Alida because he is listed as a widower on their marriage certificate. He may have married Rosanna Barker (28 December 1871 Fort Fairfield, Aroostook, Maine) and/or Rosanna Turner.

He was residing in Milo, Piscataquis, Maine, United States in 1920 with Alida. He died and is buried in Maine.
