Edward Gibson was born in 1808 in Woolwich, Kent, England, [1] the son of Samuel Gibson. [2]
When Edward was about 35 he married Martha Edbrooke on 9 August 1843 in St Helier, Jersey. [2]
In 1861 Edward was living in Poplar, Middlesex with his wife and 6 children. He was a bricklayer. [1]
