DEATHS.
––––––––
GIBSON.––Levi Gibson died at his home in Pleasant District at 6:40 o’clock, Sunday morning, April 6th. He had been unwell during the most of the winter, and was immediately suffering from a cold. He died suddenly, sitting in a chair, without a movement or a gasp. Mr. Gibson was born June 1, 1809. He was a good man––honest and upright, a good citizen, and a Christian. For more than fifty years he was a member of the M. E. Church, and a class leader for forty years. He was a man of positive views and of sincere convictions. He was one of our best citizens. His remains were interred in the graveyard on J. N. Cress’s farm. The funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. D. Flanagan, to a very large audience.
