Mary Catherine Gibson was born about 1705 in Hanover County, Colony of Virginia, daughter of Thomas Gibson (1667–1734) and Mary Frances Allen (~1673–1734).[1]
Mary (15) married John Phelps (15) (born in 1705 in Albemarle County, Virginia; son of John Phelps and Margaret Martha (Talbot) Phelps) in 1721 in Virginia. Their children were:
- Elizabeth Phelps (~1730–~1780) [uncertain].
- Sarah Phelps (1732–1785)
- Martha Phelps (1737–1767)
- John Phelps (1740–1801)
- Lucy Ann Phelps (1745–1811)
Mary died about 1763 in Bedford County, Colony of Virginia, aged about 57.[2] [3] [1]
