Biography

David Gibsone was born on 27 March 1603 in Prestonpans, Haddingtonshire, Scotland, son of Thomas Gibsone (1574 - 1610) and Janet (Johnston) Gibsone (1581 - 1630)[1].[2]

David married Isabelle Grinelaw (born in Dumfries, Dumfries-shire, Scotland in 1605; died in Montjoy, Midlothia, Scotland).

Their children were:

  1. Jeane Gibsone (1630 - )
  2. Sir Robert James Gibson (1635 - 1710).

David's son was Robert Gibson (1625 - 1710).

David died after 1635 in Prestonpans aged >32.
