Mary (Giddens) Cooper was born in Cambridgeshire, England.
When Mary Ann Giddings was born in 1802 in Orwell, Cambridgeshire, England, her father, William, was 36, and her mother, Mary, was 30.
She married William Cooper on August 23, 1826, in her hometown. They had nine children in 19 years. She died in August 1874 in Boyne City, Michigan, at the age of 72.
