Biography
William Giddens was born in 1852 in Orwell, Cambridgeshire, England, son of Jane (Searle) Giddens and Simeon Giddens.[1]
He was baptised on 3 December 1854 in Orwell.[2]
William migrated to Australia on the ship 'Bee' arriving on 18 April 1857.In 1857 Simeon, Jane, and their nine children emigrated to Australia on the "Bee"[3]
He married Emma Frances Lawler in 1880 in Victoria.[4]
William died on 28 May 1916 in Kew, Victoria, aged 61 years.[5]
