John was born in 1870. He passed away in 1926. John worked in the logging business and was killed when a log wagon ran over him. John married first Alice Arritta Hensley daughter of George Washington Hensley and Elvira Tindall. John and Rita had two daughters together (1) Mable Dee, & (2) Florence Mamie. John married second Millie Jefford and they had eight children (1) Zona, (2) Ralph Stanley, (3) Bradley, (4) Herschel, died young (5) Venita, died young(6), Gresthel, died young (7) Eathel, died young & (8) Eunice. John married third Effie Florenda Lawrence, Effie was carrying John Franklin Giddens III when John Sr. Was killed by a run away wagon.
