Biography
- He was the son of Anna, born the year before she married Isaac. Birth registration surname was misspelt Geddings . On his marriage, he gave his parents as James and Frances who raised him.
- In the marriage notice, he is named as Percy Giddings GRAY, youngest son of the late James Giddings GRAY. (Mercury 3 Nov 1892.) (In neither case is his mother mentioned.)
