Biography

Adelia Giddings Oct 15, 1875 55 years Heart York State House worker Father: Lester Giddings Mother: Rebecca Miller so we know that Lester had three children. Adelia, Dur and Lafayette. Don't know the connection withLevi. Perhaps Levi's father, John, was the brother of Lester.

Research Notes

The only place her name is recorded "Adelia" is Michigan Deaths and Burials. Usually this would be a better, source than Find A Grave. But - her brother Dur's date of death and Mother's name is wrong in that record. Delia's date of death is also wrong, it is about as many days "off" than the date on Delia's headstone and in the Giddings' Family History book here: [[1]]. Back to her name, every Census record, every record but one shows her name as Delia.
