Biography

Elizabeth, born about 1842, was the daughter of Bartholomew Gidley and Mary Ann Barnes.

She married William Henry Brely in Okehampton, Devon, in 1868.^[1] They were recorded in the England and Wales Census, 1871, living with William's father in Chagford.^[2]

In the Census of 1881, Elizabeth was widowed and living with her daughter Alice in her father's household. She worked as a dressmaker.^[3]

In 1911 she lived with her daughter Alice and her family in Redruth, Cornwall.^[4]

She died at 95 in Redruth.^[5]
