Biography

Otto was born on August 11, 1877 in Freienwalde, Angermünde, Brandenburg, Germany. His parents are August Giese and Ernestine Luckwald.^[1] He immigrated on the ship America with his family at 3 years old. They arrived on May 13, 1882 in New York, New York, USA after departing from Bremen, Germany.^[2] By 1900, he was working as a farm laborer living with his brother Otto in Underhill, Oconto, Wisconsin along with his brother Gustav and his parents.^[3] By 1910, Otto has since moved from Underhill to renting a house in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin working as a carpenter.^[4] He owned a home by 1920 on Booth Street and remained in Milwaukee county since.^[5]

He married Ida Teshke sometime around 1910.^[4] They had 4 children:

Death
