Biography

• James Aubrey Giffin was born in born April 16, 1879, the son of Joseph Dimock and Henrietta (Giffin) Giffin of Isaac's Harbour^{[1] [2]}
• 11 Oct 1905, he married Ella Winifred Cox 1881- 1923, the daughter of Abraham and Lorinda (Pride) MacMillan Cox^[3], and had children, including:

1. Josephine 1919-1935
2. Harry, who was born June 29, 1906^[4], who married Ruth Inglis in 1937^[5]and had 2 children in Middleton, Nova Scotia
3. Gordon Hugh, who was born March 15, 1915^[6], and died October 4, 1972. He is buried in Isaac's Harbour Cemetery along with his parents^[7]. His obituary makes no mention of a wife or children
