Biography

Elihu and Patience had at least one son, Elihu Kirby, Jr. 13 May 1801-24 Feb 1866. He married 9 May, 1831, Mary V. Wheeler 11 April 1808-3 June 1898.

Elihu Kirby Jr. and Mary had at least one daughter, Josephine E. Kirby, 15 Mar 1832-11 April 1924 who married 5 Sept 1849, William H. Halsey 26 Feb 1823-1863.

Josephine and William had at least one daughter, Alice Louise Halsey 16 Dec 1858, who married 14 Aug 1883, Howard Malcolm Snapp born 27 Sept, 1856.

Their son, Dorrance, Dibell Snapp, applied for membership to the Sons of the Revolution.
