Biography

Milson was born in 1852. His parents were Thomas and Ann, Thomas was a Miner. [1] His father had a younger brother called Milson who was born deaf.

In 1861 he was living with his parents and 3 siblings in Bream, Gloucestershire. His father was a Coal Miner. [2] In 1871 his father Thomas was an Iron Miner. The family were still in Bream and 6 children lived at the house. [3]

In 1876 Milson married Sarah Jane Thomas in Hewelsford. He was a Miner. [4] On 11 February 1877 they baptised baby John Thomas at Hewelsfield. The family were living in Aylburton. [5]

Milson and Sarah Jane moved to Lanarkshire, Scotland and in 1881 they lived at 73 Logans Row, Dalziel, Lanarkshire. Thomas was a stone miner and they had a 2 year old daughter, Rose. [6] In September 1881 they baptised baby Hannah Louisa in Dalziel, Lanark. [7]

In 1891 the family were in Scotland, at Kirknewton and East Calder, Midlothian. Milsom (transcribed as Thomas) was a Shale Miner and the couple had 2 daughters, Rose and Annie Louisa. [8] Thomas and Annie were still there 10 years later, at 142 Oakbank. No children were living at home. [9]

Milson died in Muiravonside, Falkirk Scotland in 1914 aged 62 [10]
