Biography

Euphemia was a younger daughter of Sir Hugh Gifford of Yester by his wife Johanna Douglas.[1] She was named after her father's mother, Euphemia daughter and heiress of Thomas de Morham.


About 1390 she married Dougal MacDowall of Makerston and by a charter on 11 March 1409 she made over her share of the Gifford estate to her husband. [2]


They had issue.
