Giuseppe Gigliotti was born January 11, 1896 in Pedivigliano, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy. He was the son of Raffaele Gigliotti and Costanza.
He married his wife Nunziata "Nancy" Paladino at some point.
He took a ship from Havre, France named Chicago and arrived in the US via the port in New York on September 24, 1911.
Around 1917, he enlisted in the army for World War I in New Britain, Hartford, CT, USA.[1]
In 1930 he was living with his wife and children in their home in New Britain.[2] A decade later, he and his family were still living together in the same city.[3]
