Believe the family moved from Sheriff Hutton to Kilnwick, York, England somewhere between 30 May 1808 and 3 September 1809. Not sure if the grief of losing a child would be enough to move the entire family this distance. There may have been external factors to the family at this time to leave a job, a home and a community. John's parents John and Mary Gilbank were living in Bugthorpe at this time and were 82 and 84.
