Biography
According to his death certificate Ira was born in 10 Nov 1853 but his headstone says 1852. He was born to Peter Gilbert and Harriet Jenkins.
Ira J Gilbert, aged 22, married Alice Seabury, aged 19, at Burlington, Calhoun, Michigan on 17 Mar 1875.[1]
He married Roxy Birch in 1911. [2] He married Edith Edkins in 1918. [3]
He died 27 Jul 1937 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery in Battle Creek. [4]
