Michael the son of Michael Gilbert was born on 24 Jan 1669 and baptised at Saint Peter's Church in Leeds on 10 Feb 1669.[1][2][3]
Named in his grandfather Michael Gilbert's 1677 Will.
Matriculated at Christ's College, Cambridge University and received his Bachelor of Arts degree there in 1688.[4][5]
