Hannah might have been born 9 May 1766, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Gilbert,[1] which would make her 22 when she married. Though her headstone states she was 81 when she died, that might have been an error. If the daughter of John and Rachel Gilbert, born in 1774,[2] married Samuel Hoyt in 1788, she would have been only 14. I'm still looking for sources to prove that Pruda Hoyt Hasbrouck was Samuel and Hannah's daughter.
