Anna was born in 1790, the daughter of John Gilbert and Millicent Goodrich.
She married Harrison Holland, originally of Petersham, in 1810 at Belchertown, where their children -- including the writer Josiah Gilbert Holland -- were later born.[1]
Note: Her obituary in Hartford states she was married in New Britain.
Anna may have been named in honor of a sister of her father John Gilbert who, according to a family record (see below), "died in infancy".
She died on 31 May 1867 in Northampton, Massachusetts.[2][3][4]
