* Adeline vs. Adelaide Deschenes. Sources show x2 separate daughters of Jean-Baptiste. Adelaide (1799) marries Eloi Gagne. Adeline (1808) marries Damase Gilbert. Adeline, however, is noted several times as being documented as Adelaide. (ie. Marriage to Damase Gilbert, and in death entry). Care should be taken not to confuse the 2 as this mistake has been found in many trees. MCJan2023
