Jane Gilbert married William Hockridge on 4th July 1799 at Pancrasweek in Devon.[3]They were married after Banns when both of the Parish with one of the 2 witnesses being Nathaniel Gilbert.[4]
Jane Hockridge was still in Kilkhampton in 1851, with her unmarried daughter, Elizabeth, now known as Betsey, and two of her illegitimate children.[7]

Jane Hockridge died in 1860 and was buried on 24th August 1860 at Kilkhampton, Cornwall, England.[8]She was aged 77 and resident at Kilkhampton.[9]
